County Lines - ICS National assistance

The ICS developed the Locality Review Process in partnership with the Home Office, and reviewed over 20 local area responses to the growing problem of cross-area drug dealing, and its associated criminality.

ICS reviews highlighted common features and tactics adopted by dealer groups, thereby assisting police and local authorities to shape their local responses and be more effective.

Our reviews, coupled with ongoing and growing County Lines activity, demonstrated that there is still work to do. More areas are becoming affected proving that greater awareness of the Modus Operandi of County Lines nominals is necessary. ICS can assist with awareness training and practical consultancy for Community Safety partnerships and practitioners.
